At New York Comic Con 2018, our Above and Batman Beyond co-host, Benjamin David brought yet another show on the road with him from the ComicBookIntl.com network: DC Collecticast. As the new pod slogan goes, we’re talkin’ action figures  and collectibles from the DC Universe! Joining Benjamin each episode are co-hosts/Instagram DC toy photographers, Tyler Gulley @batmanfigs and Scott Palmer @the.batfan.

SUBSCRIBE to the DCC  feed for 2 additional bonus tracks NOW POSTED: (1) A con crossover episode between DCC &  Above and Batman Beyond ; AND (2) a LIVE interview with Cameron from the Funko booth at NYCC. On today’s ep , Benjamin will be talking about his LIVE interview from a different toy booth, Diamond Select Toys (soon to be posted on Above as part 2 of our pod crossover). Zach Oat from the Diamond marketing team has been a recurring guest on Above for years now, this time returning to CBI for a more general DC discussion. With the new non-Beyond specific show, there was PLENTY to see from DC at both Diamond and Funko. Diamond unveiled Dark Knight trilogy statues and other PVC dioramas, for example, while Funko featured their newest Masters of the Universe inspired action figure line, DC Primal Age.

Finally, on today’s ep, Benjamin will recap his post-con odyssey into the mecca of comic shops,  Midtown Comics Times Square. Spending HOURS on the collectibles floor alone (a friggin’ bi-level comic shop), Ben geeked out hard on some Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys, DC Collectibles 6″ action figures, and MUCH more! Enjoy the pics below from Midtown and follow DCC on Instagram @dccollecticast; and, of course, follow Above on Instagram @batmanbeyondpodcast.

(My new fave btw, brings me RIGHT the fuck back to my 80s #mastersoftheuniverse figure roots) Digging in HARD, back to work on our pod network’s main site, COMICBOOKINTL.COM. The site is where you’ll find new Eps of @dccollecticast , @batmanbeyondpodcast , our #nycc2018 coverage and all the other shows on our network! With Google’s recent updates, Anyone managing a website right now knows what I’m talking about, right? These stupid SSL things? Anyway, it’s a security thing where our network just had to spend a bunch of money to “protect” our 5 websites (including BATMANBEYONDPODCAST.COM); in other words, no one will find our websites on Google unless I pay all this money to our hosting company. Thanks, Google! All good, point is the websites are back and better than ever! Check out SUPER safe web presence now, for con coverage and upcoming Eps for all our shows: @dccollecticast , @batyardsfinestpod , @updatenerd , and of course @batmanbeyondpodcast …………. @batmanandbeer @batmanandcoffee @batmanandwhiskey #newyorkcomiccon #newyorkcomiccon2018 #nycc2018 #nycomiccon2018 #nycomiccon #comicconfans #batmanbeyondpodcast #funkobatman #batmancollectibles #batmanbeyondcollectibles #funkonycc2018 #funkonycc #funkopopnycc2018 #nycc2018funkoexclusive
